ABOUT FLADDA CHUAIN

Fladda Chuain is a traditional cottage tastefully refurbished in 2017. The cottage is set in a rural crofting community in stunning North Skye. Fladda Chuain is named after a nearby small island and is our former family home. It is tastefully decorated and furnished with your comfort in mind. It sleeps up to 6 with 3 generous double bedrooms. There are private enclosed gardens with stunning panoramic views across the inner Minch towards the Outer Hebridean islands of Uist, Harris and Lewis. If you also plan to visit these islands, Fladda Chuain will be your perfect base being only 15 minutes from the Uig ferry. There is ample safe parking for 2 or more cars (please note a car is essential). The cottage is warm, cosy and well equipped throughout. The perfect base to explore the rugged and beautiful Trotternish Peninsula, arguably the most spectacular part of the Isle of Skye.

Fladda Chuain is located in the North of the Isle of Skye and looks out on to amazing sea views at the bottom of the croft connected to our property. Enjoy seeing the stars at night from our peaceful location.

GREAT ROOMS

Fladda Chuain contains 3 very comfortable Double Bedrooms with Queen Size beds and all bedding and linen is provided. WIFI internet access is also available in all of our guest rooms.

EXCELLENT KITCHEN

Fladda Chuain contains a spacious modern kitchen with everything you will require during your stay including oven, microwave, toaster, hob, fridge/freezer and dish washer.

GUEST DINING AREA

Enjoy the perfect start to the day with breakfast in our cosy dining room. The room also contains a selection of books and DVDs that can be enjoyed in the evening after exploring the local area.

MODERN BATHROOMS

 Fladda Chuain is equipped with 2.5 bathrooms including downstairs shower or upstairs a full bath to soak and relax in the evening after enjoying all the long walks close by.

COSY LIVING ROOM

The living room is a cosy space with ample seating for 6 guests. For your enjoyment there is a Smart TV with Freeview and integrated Amazon Prime, Netflix etc. The living room also includes a DAB Bluetooth Radio.

UTILITY ROOM

Our utility room has plenty of space to store your outdoor clothing, hiking gear and fishing rods. It is also equipped with a washing machine/washing powder, a drying rack, iron and ironing board.

LITTLE EXTRAS

Enjoy little extras on your stay with us including our exclusive Fladda Chuain gin distilled on the Isle of Skye. A bag of Isle of Skye tablet is also provided to welcoming you to our property.
